Blog Update

I’ve had a play tonight and got the calendar working, unfortunatly this makes the page not validate as XHTML. :-(

Also changed is a new link to my picture gallery, with this I’ve had to change the css and images to match better. Those using Firefox should see the page as intended but in IE the page doesn’t line up and I’m not sure why.

What _is_ a testing environment?

I wasn’t so sure that anyone knew, never mind me. But thanks to some journals I now see that some people do know.

What is still striking me is the number of people that know that testing is “a good thing” but don’t know what kind of environment to do it in. You certainly don’t do all of your testing on your development box that’s for sure.

Having read all but a few of the journals I found now have quite a few bits of text to reference and the initial write up of this will start soon. I still need to do a full scope and then use this to get into some sort of time scale so there is plenty to do.

As it’s Crufts at the NEC I excepted it would be very very busy getting to work, but despite the train manager asing passengers to take their dogs as well as their personal belongings, it wasn’t much different. Having said that it’s Thursday, wonder what Friday is going to be like.
