| Extra: | When the power goes the UPS sends a signal to Tuxx to shutdown. All my other devices can cope with a loss of power but not dips and surges, I’ve had a power dip kill a hard disk.The upfront cost is outweighed by the extra cost that occurs when the power fluctuates and kills things, especially in a residential house. The UPS is plugged into a single wall socket, all the devices are then plugged into the UPS. This means that all devices are protected, right from the actual computers to the network. |
